Affordable and friendly, it has something for everyone, whether you sail, power boat, swim, or just enjoy great food, a fantastic view, and a friendly social atmosphere.

Only minutes from downtown Hamilton, RHYC will have you out of the office and on the water, in the pool, or relaxing on the patio in under thirty minutes.

We have comfortable, well-appointed meeting spaces, if you need to bring the office with you, and excellent dining facilities, both casual and formal.

For the kids, there are sailing lessons, pool activities, indoor and outdoor games, parties and special events, opportunities for skills and leadership development, and much more.

We’ve got slips and dry sail facilities for your boat, sailing lessons for all ages and abilities, a Club Shark fleet for sailors who need a boat, and a crew bank for those who’d like a chance to sail with others. We have regular weeknight racing, regattas, cruising events (both power and sail), and lots of casual boating. And we have exercise classes (in the pool in summer and indoors in the winter), craft classes, special courses for sailors and non-sailors, and more.

Our social events range from casual BBQs and pub nights, to Sail Past and the Commodore’s Ball. There’s a Christmas party for the kids, charity events, raft-ups, casino nights, murder mysteries, great speakers at our Shellbacks luncheons, Canada Day Celebrations, lots of special events … and our Sips on Slips mixer is an annual showstopper!
